“Girls are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. The boys don’t want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they just get the rotten apples from the ground that aren’t as good, but easy. So the apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they’re amazing. They just have to wait for the “right” guy to come along, the one who’s brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree. “

Driving

So, I spend most of my time driving back and forth, back and forth… Gadsden to Homewood, Homewood to Gadsden. There are so many people on the road just like me… just driving, tryin’ to get somewhere. But, who are these people? I’m pretty sure there is a soccer mom out there just tryin’ to get home so she can get her kid to soccer practice on time, or a dad just tryin’ to return home from a long day at the office… or maybe a girl, just tryin’ to find herself. Not too sure, but one thing is for sure… we’re all tryin’ to get somewhere.

So, where are you going? what are you looking for?

For granted

I now realize that you can not take things for granted. yet, that is what we do in this world. we want everything RIGHT NOW, we get it, and then it becomes another “thing” to us… but what if it disappeared or went away? would you miss it? would it bother you that it was gone? If you said no, then let it go…but, if you said yes, hold on tight. Don’t take it for granted. I’m learning this right now… and I said YES!
